In 2015, about 8 000 employees took part in Clariant training courses, attending a total of about 140 000 hours of training. About 15 % of this training occurred in the Clariant Academy programs with an emphasis on the so called leadership trainings and sales competencies with approximately 500 participants and about 6 500 hours each. Local offerings comprised trainings with emphasis mainly on language courses, communication and presentation skills. Employees also attended courses in environment, safety, and health (ESH). Other trainings also cover topics such as technical courses and product related trainings. However, data for these courses is not yet centrally recorded.
